Von der Leyen wants to put European household savings “at the service” of businesses

 

After months of hints and comments that he would seek a second term, President Joe Biden officially announced his 2024 re-election campaign in a video on April 25.

The date falls four years ago, after the day he launched his 2020 presidential bid.

In the video posted early this morning, Biden, 80, said: “The question we face is whether we will have more or less freedom in the next few years. More rights or less”.

“This is not a time to be complacent…That is why I am running for re-election,” he said.
