Millions for Ukraine the worst economic moment for Americans, considers Kennedy

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lamented that while millions and millions of dollars are being sent to Ukraine, Americans are going through their worst economic moment.

"Ukraine gets $113 billion while Americans endure a war on the poor"..."We have a crisis here," lamented Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Among the data he shared about the American reality, he said:

• 57% of Americans can't get their hands on $1,000 if they have an emergency.

• A quarter of Americans go to bed hungry.

• 1.5 million veterans live below the poverty line.

• 33,000 veterans are homeless.

• 23 veterans a day commit suicide.

"The war against the poor is a blood war," he said.
