The President of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, announced this

“We want to announce the creation of the Coronavirus Fund to
continue dealing with outlays, which are going to be many (...) income of
public officials, because it is time for all of us to make an effort, ”said the
president at a press conference.
Lacalle Pou explained that 20% will be deducted from his own
salary, as well as from the salaries of ministers, legislators and directors of
state entities.
Likewise, on scales that "will surely go from 5% to 10%
and 20%", public wages and pensions that exceed 80,000 liquid pesos (about
$ 1,900) will be reduced.
"They are high wages, they are not people who have to
stop the pot," justified the president.
