The fight for the defense of the unborn takes place in Montana.
Where it seeks to respect the rights of children from the womb of their mother.
Legislators in the Montana, US, House of Representatives
proposed on Thursday, March 18, a pro-life amendment to the constitution that
would recognize unborn babies as legal human beings with fundamental civil
rights.
According to Montana Public Radio, House Bill 337,
introduced by State Representative Caleb Hinkle (Republican of Belgrade), is
one of multiple anti-abortion bills passing through the Legislature. this year.
On a 67-33 vote in the House, the bill passed the first round, it has yet to go
through a second vote before it becomes law.
House Bill 337 will modify the concept of the individual in
the Montana Constitution to include fertilized eggs, zygotes, embryos, and
fetuses and, therefore, will guarantee them all the legal rights that
correspond to the born human beings. The state claims that abortion is
unconstitutional.
Other states are expected to follow Montana's lead and could
therefore soon join the list of advocates for the unborn.
