Parents across California are protesting outside district
offices, circulating petitions and calling school board meetings with a
determination never seen before in the blue state.
One of the groups that is leading the battle against
politicians and unions that resist openings is the Open Schools California, the
members are working hard to share the following message:
“We are parents from across California who are committed to
public education and believe that our children should have access to safe,
in-person instruction. We support the monitoring of science and data on
COVID-19 transmission within schools and advocate for the return of our
children. "
In this way, in what is the largest state in the country
governed by the Democratic Party, parents take a step forward, to organize and
stop those government intentions that seem to try to keep study centers closed.
The intentions of Californian parents are also supported by
learning about entire countries that never closed their activities, being one
of the almost nonexistent due to the pandemic.
Disbelief about COVID-19 and its true effects on the health of the population has begun to appear among the most informed Californians.
