A 60-year-old Danish woman who died of a blood clot after
receiving the CCP virus vaccine from AstraZeneca had "very unusual"
symptoms, the Danish Medicines Agency reported after evaluating the case.
As determined by the forensic study after her death, the
woman died due to a low number of blood platelets and clots in small and large
vessels, the result of internal bleeding after having applied the CCP virus
vaccine from the AstraZeneca laboratory.
The Danish Medicines Agency reported that in Norway and in
the database of drug side effects of the European Medicines Agency (EMA),
several cases of death with very similar symptoms were found after applying the
same vaccine.
Norwegian health authorities said on Saturday that three
people, all under the age of 50, who had received the AstraZeneca vaccine were
being treated in hospital for bleeding, blood clots and a low blood platelet
count, which health authorities labeled as “ unusual symptoms ”.
AstraZeneca Plc defended itself saying that a review of its
research data on people vaccinated with its COVID-19 vaccine has shown no
evidence of an increased risk of producing blood clots. However, the data that
European countries are throwing do not suggest the same and last week ten countries
of the European Union had already suspended the application of the British
laboratory vaccine.
Now joined by Germany, France, Italy and Spain, who became
the latest countries on Monday to suspend use of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine
over reports of dangerous blood clots in some recipients, AP News reported.
